The 2nd Jump Rope Urban International Meeting (JRUIM) took over the vibrant streets of Porto on August 31st and September 1st, bringing an explosion of energy, excitement, and unforgettable memories. With participants arriving from all corners of the globe, the atmosphere was buzzing from the very first moment. The event brought together jump rope enthusiasts, old friends, and new faces alike, creating a community full of connection and joy. The presence of special guests like Geraldo Alken, Sarah Jump Rope, and Lauren Jumps only added to the magic.

Highlights of the Event:

• Day 1: From the early morning meet-and-greet to the jump rope games, the vibe was high, with participants sharing their skills, filming combos, and bonding with one another. Teams were quickly formed by the special guests, and the friendly competition kicked off!
• Afternoon Adventures: Despite full stomachs from lunch, nobody could sit still. The group made their way across the iconic Luís I Bridge, showing off a group combo against the stunning Porto backdrop. The action continued to Serra do Pilar, where the day ended with challenges, a jump cypher, and everyone showing their unique style.
• Evening time: The day concluded with a delightful group dinner at The Passenger Hostel, where laughter and stories flowed as freely as the food.

Day 2: The real game is On!

• Morning Games: The second day kicked off with more Jump Rope Games and Geraldo, Sarah, and Lauren’s teams had to create the most original group combo with their teams. The best one voted would earn extra points in the end of the result. 
• The competition: As the afternoon approached, excitement filled the air for the much-anticipated 2nd Edition of the Urban Competition. Held in the Street Vibes section of The World Battle at the Alfândega, the finalists were ready to show their skills, and guess what? THEY DID IT! What an insane set of battles!

The body was craving rest, but the energy was still high. The after-party gave everyone a chance to connect in a relaxed, social vibe, where people shared their moments and stories, creating even more memories and leaving with emotions running high as they said their goodbyes.
